Enemies of The Amazone

When Crux exploded, one of the million pieces crashed into the ancient world of the Incas; Amazone.

Bringing Maelstrom with it, the meteor smacked down into the ground, leaving a big crater fulled with Maelstrom and darkness. These dark powers spread through the forests infecting every unwary Inca it came across.
Lots of citizens and warriors got infected, villages turned into ghost towns and even the lakes turned purple.

Turning the Amazone from peaceful jungle into a dark menace, dangerous enemies were created attacking anything or anyone on their path.
When curious archaeologists travelled to Amazone to investigate what happened, they came across the infected Incas.
Here is a note from their journals:

''After several attacks on our camp, we made this small note to inform and warn all of us and new explorers:''

Infected Inca citizen:

- 7 Health, these were the normal citizens

- They use a torch as weapon

- They use the torch to burn their victim, dealing 1 damage

Infected Inca Warrior:

- 17 Health, the warriors are stronger than the citizens

- The warriors use a powerfull heavy spear to stab

- The warriors have a ranged attack, they throw their spear to you, dealing 1 damage

- When they use their melee attack, their spear will deal 3 damage 

Watch out, these enemies are very dangerous and MUST be approached with caution!"

So far we know how strong the powers of the Maelstrom are on Amazone, but who knows what other creatures are watching us in the dark of the forests...

We're back!

Hello builder and explorers,

You have probably mentioned that we haven't been online on the Amazone blog for some time.
We first want to say sorry about this, but there are some reasons why we haven't posted a blog in some time.
First of all, we were really excited that Nexus Tower opened and after that, a lot of things were released in the Universe. Of course this is no excuse, but the releases kept us a little busy, and of course some of us were on vacation.
But in the mean time, we díd came up with NEW ideas and NEW plans for Amazone!
There soon will come a post about the enemies in Amazone, which will also include some pre-ideas of us for Amazone.

So the Amazone Team is back, and we're gonna make this LUP world!

The Amazone Project

Here it is, as I promised!
You've probably already seen some stuff about this project, like the models.
But now, here's the detailed explanation of where this whole project is about:

It all began on a wonderful sunny day, in a galaxy far, far away... LEGO Universe
Four explorers... On a mission to save the universe from evil forces. They all joined a Nexus Force Faction, and they were ready to fight. This team of best friends met in the early days of Beta. This team has the following members, all with their own personalities and specialities.
Mono - Master with weapons, has great fighting tactics and skills, and likes to be called Monorail.
Panos - Also known as Sensei Fong. This master of all Ninja arts is sometimes a bit impatient, but has a great mind.
Ads - The funny guy. Has a big sense of humor, but don't underestimate him; he knows whats going on in the universe.
Wrench (that's me :D) - Not really specialised in something. Loves to hang around with friends sometimes more then fighting, racing or whatever is going on.

But now back to the project:
You all know the new LUP worlds, also known as the World Builder League worlds. You all know them: Portabello, Robot City, Deep Freeze and Moonbase.
But now, our plan is to create a brand new LUP world. But of course, it is hard work and LEGO does probably not know yet about this project. So the four of us are gonna work hard to make this dream come true.

Amazone is a jungle themed world, filled with ancient temples and statues. Inside this forgotten woods, the Inca population lived in harmony and peace.
Untill that one terrible day.
After The Darkitect's powers started to grow, this small world became unlucky. Inca leaders, warriors and even the medicine men got infected. The Incas believe it's a curse from one of their gods, but we know better. The survivors of ''The Curse of the Shadow God'' are now hiding somewhere deep inside the forests.
Archeologists came to the world to do research. They will help you to find your way through inside this jungle filled with traps, shadows and Maelstrom darkness.

This is the story of Amazone. We are working hard and really hope to get this idea approved by the developpers of Lego Universe, but we will need your support. So tell all your friends about this, and let them write a comment if they want, and make sure that soon, everyone will know about this!

First day

Hi everybody,

This is the first post about The Amazone Project, which will be the begin of our mission:
Creating a new LUP world in LEGO Universe.
We are a team of four people. Our names are Ads, Mono, Panos and Wrench (me). These are our in-game names so if you want you can always look for us in LU.
As I mentioned, I am Wrench and I will maintain this blog. Let me now tell you some stuff about me and the team:
We were all in the Beta test version of the game and, except Panos, we were all founders, which means that we pre-ordered the game and that we got early access when the game launched. We live in Europe and we play a lot of LU. And of course we really enjoy the fun of building and imagining, either it is in LU, in real or in LDD (Lego Digital Designer).

So this our first impression to you guys. In our next post I will tell more about The Amazone Project.
